Reality tells me:
I came into this world naked and alone, and that's how I'll leave it.
Death is certain.
The only time is now.
Wisdom responds:
To resist death is to resist life.
This moment is a treasure of opportunity.
I can tap in and out of interactions with people, enter and exit situations, possess things, and entertain opinions. It’s a blessing to be grateful for life and it's accoutrements. It’s futile and unhealthy to cling.
The fullest, most satisfying life requires the fullest, most satisfying experience of this moment.
It is me alone who controls how I conduct myself.
I’m free to move about each moment with courage, curiosity, calmness, and kindness.
I’m free to observe and practice when I’m constricted and confused. I'm free to be un-free, and only pray that I recognize it.
All is well. Better yet, all is perfect, because that’s how it is.
As I worship reality, I discover freedom.
